I think it ended well personally and i'm very proud of it.
However, when reading it through i realised that there's a large amount of grammar errors and a couple of spelling. Nothing huge, just things i probably neglected or forgot about. There's a few typos too.
On top of that i also need to adjust it a bit so i can change the setting from the U.S. to England. I didn't realise how obviously nothern i sound, so it would make better sense if set in england.
Shouldn't take me long to do this, i'll probably do it this evening and have the final product up here by tomorrow morning.
So, as i said, any comments, be it praise or otherwise, i would appreciate. Not nice to finish a peice and then have no-one tell you if it's good or not!
Lack of comments is an illness my DeviantART seems to be a chronic sufferer of...
Oh well.
The X is still completely stuck...no idea where to go from here at all. But i'll sit down with it tonight and see if i can come up with ideas. I'd better get it done soon because i told Bear Flag Republic (the band who commisioned me to write the peice) i'd have it for them by now.
Also, i will now be commencing work on my much larger peice, "The Beach At Redpoint" since i've finished The Lightening Strikes The Tarmac. I suspect that will take me well into the year to finish, as TLSTT was simply an 8 page short story and TBAR, i intend to become a full on novel. TBAR already exceeds 15 A4 pages and it hasn't even got into the main storyline yet.
The amount of work i have to do on that peice should keep me occupied for a bit!
Lee.
